What it covers

A method for carrying emotion with a message, and a hologram at the end of it.

From the granted specification
“The communication system may analyze cultural data associated with emotion metadata to generate a hologram that includes mannerisms that are adjusted for delivery of emotion.”

Quoted verbatim from the granted specification, filed 2019. The complete claim set governs; this passage is descriptive.

In plain language:

When a person speaks, the message carries emotional and prosodic information alongside its words. Conventional machine translation, in its early years, captured the words. The patented method combined sentiment analysis with machine translation to capture the emotional content during translation: representing it as structured data bound to the specific words and phrases that produced it, and carrying it across the language boundary with the message, so that a recipient receives not only what was said, but the manner in which it was said.

Here is where it gets interesting. The specification further contemplates representations that carry adjusted vocal delivery in the target language, and from that, a holographic presentation of the speaker.

The how, well. That is the basis of our research.
Structure

Privately held, and still at it.

RealComm Global is privately held. The company attempted to commercialize its conferencing platform several times before sunsetting it in 2024.

The research never stopped. A proposal went to the National Science Foundation in 2022. Over the past five years, as the platform was phased out, the research was ramped up. Since 2025 that work has been the RCG Voice Model.

Beyond the granted claims

The patent is the disclosed portion. It is not the whole portfolio.

A granted patent trades disclosure for protection: everything inside the claims is published, and everything published is defended. Work that has not reached that point is held in confidence until it is ready for publication, patent filing, or commercialization.

02

Held as trade secret

Implementation methods, architecture, corpora, lexicon construction, filter design and evaluation results developed since 2019. Documented internally, disclosed only under executed agreement.

03

Contemplated filings

Subject matter under active research that may become the basis of further applications. Held in confidence until it is ready to be filed.

Notice
RealComm Global does not publish system architecture, training data provenance, model composition, evaluation figures or implementation detail. This is a standing position rather than a temporary one. Requests for technical depth are answered under an executed confidentiality agreement, scoped to the counterparty's actual purpose.
